Happy Holidays!!!
The kids were happy and amazed of the gifts they got. Their dad bought them gifts a day or two ago but I secretly gave my gifts to them today. They were happy Santa came and dropped off his gifts for them. It’s really a peaceful day today. The stores are closed today so we can not really go somewhere. The only thing open today that my husband noticed was the movie house not far from where we live.
I made some fruit salad and the kids love it. We kept looking for nestle cream last night but the stores closed very early so instead I just used whipped cream. Amazingly it came out good enough.
I cleaned up our bedroom to give space to our king sized bed that will be here tomorrow. I moved out the dresser and placed it in my daughter’s room. We were supposed to put our bed in her room too but I asked my stepson if he wants it in his room. He agreed with it. I thought they will move it in today but my husband said tomorrow and not toaday. I cleaned our very dusty bathroom. It has really been a long time since I did that. I’m excited about the bedroom set. It is a seven piece set made of rose wood, slightly used but in perfect condition. We bought it from an estate sale just in time for christmas.
I got tired of cleaning and took a nap after. What a day. I’m just happy everything is peaceful and the kids are at home.
