Happy Hearts Day!
Happy Valentine’s Day to all.It is really wonderful that once a year we can share our love and appreciation to the people we love most. Who said love is not a cool thing to be shared with? It may sound very commercialized nowadays but it still feels great to be a part of the sharing and caring circle. As some people show their love in the grandest and fanciest way others show love and appreciation to everyone in the simplest way.
My kids had a lot of fun last night at their school’s carnival. The kids went for face painting, balloons, jump for tots and a lot other things. With a lot of fun and games the ten dollars we paid for the whole family was really a good deal. But we have to leave early to attend my friend’sbirthday party. She lived 35 minutes away from us but I most of all had great fun since I saw other filipino friends in the area. I also met new friends and had filipino dinner. She also prepared some american foods because she had a lot of guests. We had karaoke for a little and went home at 9:30 since we have to travel and we have kids who were starting to feel sleepy. It was a great day for all of us.
It sounds like you got a great deal with the carnival. I’m glad you and your kids had fun at the carnival and that you got a chance to make it to your friend’s birthday party.
As long as the kids enjoyed it I will am happy and contented with it.;-)
