Daily Adventures of a Mom

I may not feeling well today but I am grateful I am still alive. I think I got this cough from my hubby. My stepson is also not feeling well and has been absent for two days now. I just hope he gets well soon. I have been sleeping for most of the day to feel better and I do feel a lot better now.

Another year has passed for me and today is my birthday. No big celebrations for me but I am glad the Lord has blessed me so much.  Love , life, happiness, contentment and peace. My husband don’t celebrate birthdays because of his religious reasons but that is actually fine with me. I respect him of who he is. I celebrated on my own with my son. We went to whole foods which is just a walk away from home and grabbed the cake we liked. We ate some cake and he chose to have a vegan chocolate cake and raspeberry ice cream while mine was a new york cheesecake. Yumm. I wish my daughter was with us but she was having a playdate with her classmate. A few of my friends greeted me and my mom and family in the Philippines. I got a lipstain from covergirl which is some kind of a light lipstick as a present to myself. The nice thing about it is it’s buy one take one so I have two which I thought was cool. My son got a velvet coloring book that made him happy and contented even if his sister was not around. We fetched my daughter at six and she was so happy that we have given her the chance to play with her friend. We went home happy and contented.
