Daily Adventures of a Mom

My stepson wanted to buy a desktop computer. His dad said yes about the plan. Everyday he canvassed and prodded his dad to buy him a computer. The prices have ranged from 300 to a thousand which sounds ridiculous. He found a magazine that sells at a good price so everyday he visited the website. More and more he gets really excited about it. The last time I heard is my husband  said he will withdraw money so he can have his computer but before he did that he called up his teachers and asked how he was doing in school. The teachers told his dad how bad his grades were and his dad got upset about it. His verdict was for the boy to study harder and show better grades before asking about a computer again. I know he felt bad about it because when I asked him he had high hopes that his dad will buy today but all of a sudden everything froze. I am some kind of a compulsive type like if I want it I would really want it but I actually did not say anything about it because my husband has all the right and reasons to motivate him with his studies. He should at least study hard and show his best so his dad will be pleased. I hope he will take it in the positive side because at any rate we actually have two computers at home.
